U.S. grown Fuji’s began appearing in the 1980’s however the variety was developed in Japan in the 1930’s and named after Mt. Fuji. Yellow green with red highlights to full red in color. Spicy sweetness with firm flesh and tender skin the Fuji stores well. One of the best eating apples around it is also good for baking as it holds its texture well. Also good in salads, beverages and freezing.

Empress Plum

Large and egg-shaped with blueish purple skin and greenish-yellow flesh. Delicate flavor with a fine texture and good shelf life. Very popular with bakers as when cooked they turn into an almost jam like consistency without becoming mushy. Good for tarts, cakes and other baked goods or eaten fresh.

President Plum

Large and oblong with dark blue skin and a juicy yellow flesh. Delicate flavor with a fine texture and good shelf life. Suitable as a dessert plum it is also an excellent cooker. Good for fresh eating, dried or in jams and jellies.

Italian Prune

Petit, egg-shaped fruit with a deep purple skin and amber lime green flesh. Dense and full of sweet flavors that deepen as it ripens. Dries well it can also be used for fresh eating, desserts, jams and salads.
